Glenn G. Jones
Glenn was born in Bartow, FL, and raised in Lakeland, FL. He attended Bethune-Cookman College, now Bethune-Cookman University, where he majored in Business Administration and Hospitality Management. In 2007 Glenn was acknowledged as “Who’s Who in the African American Community” by the Lakeland Ledger, as a volunteer to ensure financial literacy for seniors. He served as President of Central Florida’s Business Diversity Council 2005 - 2007.
He is married with 4 children. He also served on 3 executive boards: the West Central Florida Area Agency on Aging, now known as the Senior Connection Center, and he is on the Financial Board, which oversees a $20 million budget. He was the President on the executive board of CATT (Coalition on Aging Transition and Technology) of The RATH Senior ConNextion Center for 10 years. He was an Executive Board Member, Elder, and Teacher at Abundant Life Church of God for 6 years.
Over the last two years, Glenn hosted a broadcast on WTBN 570 AM or 910 AM every Saturday in Tampa, Florida at 8:53 am to 9:30 am. The Topic is “Planning in Advance/ Necessary Conversations.”
